How To Write Articles and use Article Marketing To help you in Your Online Business

Internet article marketing strategy is an important aspect of advertising your website and improving your traffic and sales. However, before you can use this as an effective online advertising technique, you first have to learn how to write articles in such a way that your readers will feel compelled to visit your website.

There are ways of achieving this, although it takes time to learn unless you have a good teacher. Nevertheless, by applying a few simple fundamental rules to your article writing, you can improve your internet article marketing strategy significantly and thereby also improve your website traffic.

Here are a few tips on how to achieve this, and the first is to break your article down into its component parts. Let's discuss that by means of an example. How about an article on weight loss? We shall assume here that your article is intended for distribution to article directories, since that is the basis of article marketing, and that is the subject of this article.

There are six parts to an article, believe or not, and we shall discuss each of these here - some in more depth than others. We shall also make some assumptions, such as that you have carried out your keyword research and are using the best keywords for the topic of your article (weight loss). Here are the six parts, and a brief discussion of each:

1. The Title

The title is the initial magnet. It is what will attract visitors to read your article, and so must offer an answer to their problem: most people read articles to get information, and most of that is to have a problem resolved. So, in terms of weight loss, that might be 'Easy Weight Loss Solutions' or 'How to Lose Weight Easily'. However, we shall use:

"Feel a bit Chubby? Here's How to Lose Weight Free - Weight Loss at no Cost"

That lets the reader know that they can lose weight, and that they can do so free. How does that help you? It gets visitors to your landing page, and after that it is up to you. Yes, you are promoting a free means of losing weight, but once you have visitors to your website you can collect their email addresses, make them special offers and sell related products.

The biggest problem most have is to get traffic, and once you have it you can use it. If your title and your article achieve that, then they have done their job. Use your main keyword in the title, and also a secondary keyword.

In this case: 'How to lose weight' and 'lose weight free'. Also, 'Weight loss' as an addition keyword that can you some extra traffic.

2. The Opening Paragraph

Your reads will either continue reading or click away according to your opening paragraph. This is the next most important part of your article writing. Perhaps something like:

"People have different reasons for wanting to learn how to lose weigh free. Getting married soon? Going on a beach vacation? Or do just feel a bit chubby? Has that dress size just shot up a couple of notches? How about some good weight loss at no cost? No special supplements and no special equipment? No eBooks or expensive gyms to pay for?"

Note that all keywords/phrases have been used once more in the opening paragraph. It also looks a bit like a sales page, but is actually the opening paragraph of an article. Anybody learning how to write articles should understand that your article should provide good solid information, but hint at the offer of a solution to a problem. The opening paragraph offers critical support to the title.

3. The Article Body

The title and first paragraph might catch the attention, and then you have the rest of the article to explain how it is possible. Thus, eat fewer calories and exercise more: replace simple with complex carbohydrates of lower calorie content, eat fresh fruit rather than cookies, walk that half mile to school and not drive, and so on. The article body should expand on the title and opening paragraph but not give the entire answer. The special 'secret'!

4. The Final Paragraph

The final paragraph should lead into the resource: that is where you provide your website URL and offer to provide further details on how to achieve the promise of the title. This is a critical part of internet article marketing strategy, and any information on how to write articles should explain how to construct your resource.

Thus, for the final paragraph, include something along the lines of: "So if you have a wedding coming up, will be spending some time on the beach or even want to drop a few dress sizes, you will find a lot more information on how to lose weight free online, and although it is important to keep that energy balance equation in mind, there is more to it than just that. Weight loss cannot be bought, but it can be earned if you know how."

You have opened a door in their mind that more information can help them to lose weight without it costing them money.

5. The Resource

Many writers use their resource as a biography, although most readers don't really care about your age, your family and your school. They want to know how to lose weight free! Your final paragraph has opened the door slightly, so pull it wide open with something such as:

"To open that door to free weight loss, check out (your web page URL), where you will find how to lose weight free at no cost to you."

6. The Summary

Many directories provide a summary of your article below your title: make sure that is an extension of the title, or even a mini-version of the opening paragraph. For example:

"If you know how to lose weight free, and can achieve weight loss at no cost at will, then no future date or event will worry you because you will be able to control your weight as you want to without breaking the bank to do so."

That is basically it. These are the basic principles of how to write articles, and use your internet article marketing strategy to promote your website. Perhaps not perfectly presented, but you get the idea, and that is the objective of writing articles.

HOW CONSISTENT ARE YOU IN YOUR BUSINESS

I can’t begin to tell you how many people struggle in this business because of consistency. They get fired up after an event and work like crazy for two weeks. Then the remote control starts to beckon to them…

They go missing for a couple months. Then they get to another event and get fired up again. They try to make up for the lost time with extra hours. Then they drop off again.

What they don’t realize is that each time they go MIA, it kills the momentum in their team. So you can’t really catch up those hours.

You will always get passed by others who may not have manic bursts of high activity, but work consistently ten to 15 hours a weeks. Here’s my law of this:

You can work part-time, but you can’t work sometimes.
So how you doing on this?

Remember this is a Numbers# Game. Be Patient and learn to generate lots of leads and sort through Masses of people.

Making Money Online - A Simple RoadMap

“Make money online.” These words have the mysterious power to unleash your dreams and hopes! Making money online is a fascinating idea very similar in spirit to the Gold Rush 150 years ago. Both share the dream of changing your life by becoming rich quickly. Instant wealth is here for the taking! All you need to succeed is an entrepreneurial approach and the courage to think out of the box.

This idea is fascinating because it carries a wind of freedom. It opens new opportunities for people like you and me. Its essential message is: “You don’t need to be born rich to be rich! You too have a chance to make big money, or at least to achieve financial autonomy and be your own boss”. The beauty of the Internet is its democratic spirit that offers a renewal of chances for all. On the Web, success isn’t only the lot of an elite blessed by birth but an opportunity for “ordinary people” to achieving extraordinary results in their life and with very limited financial resources.

I caught the Internet bug several years ago. I was almost hypnotized by the idea of making an income online and changing my lifestyle so that I can do what I want, when I want, and where I want without having to worry about money. During that time, I spent hours, weeks and months scrutinizing web opportunities and trying to answer this question: How is it possible to make money online?

I was frustrated with not knowing how to answer this question for the longest time. The Internet was like a maze and I was erring in its endless corridors without finding the exit. Today I know that the challenge for anyone trying to make money online is figuring out what opportunity can make a difference for him. It’s a tough one! How not to be confused with so many opportunities claiming to hold the keys to online success and promising amazing shortcuts to wealth?! Which ones to believe? Is it really so easy? Are you really the only one who is left out when everyone else is enjoying the online money making party?

To help you take a jump-start, I present here a model which you can use to map out opportunities you encounter on the Web and to screen them before you give them a chance.

First let me ask you a few questions. Do you think it is easy to make lots of money on the Internet? Do you believe you can easily earn several thousand dollars a week with a secret formula developed by an Internet guru who reveals the most guarded secret in the world to you

Consider these ads:

“Get Paid on Autopilot!!”
“Get rich online: Make millions on the web with no effort!”
“$100,000/month guaranteed! Start earning within 15 minutes!”

Cool, isn’t it? It seems you too can make a blast and it doesn’t require any real effort on your part… What are you waiting for? You should already be rushing to your Internet gold mine!

Such offers are seductive because their melody plays on the strings of laziness (we are all lazy to some extent) and wishful thinking (what if these promises are true?).

If you are inclined to believe such statements, you may learn the hard way that “all that glitters isn’t gold!”

Sorry to rain on your parade but the first thing you need to know if you really want to make money online is that you will need to roll up your sleeves! I know it’s disappointing. I would also prefer to make millions in my sleep but it doesn’t work that way. Making money online requires some time and effort, even for the easiest and best opportunity.
To succeed you need an attitude involving curiosity, courage, and the readiness to learn and work. The first step in this journey is to put aside “get rich quick” dreams and to skip programs that come with such a claim. To spot the real opportunities, free yourself of such illusions, use your common sense and develop a proactive approach involving knowledge acquisition, skill development, and work.

Step 1 is cleaning the ground you walk on and getting rid of seductive promises that will reveal themselves as deceptive scams.

Step 2 is focusing on real opportunities that can fit your goals and lifestyle.

10 Amazing Social Networking Tips To Attract Prospects and Generate Leads

Belonging to a bunch of social networks simply because you know that you need to be on them for business isn't enough to get results for your MLM Biz.

Whenever a new social networking site pops up, people sprint to it as quickly as possible thinking that just by being one of the first they will generate leads. However, before you jump on the bandwagon you should know how to harness its power so you can beat everyone at their own game. So, I'm going to share with you 10 dirty little secrets that work for ALL social networks alike that will pull in leads like a big game fisherman casting a wide net in the ocean.

1. When writing your profile on your page don't put a a bunch of stuff about your business or products. Get personal, tell people who you are and what you like to do for fun, maybe even your reasons for starting your own business. Open up and let people see that you're a real person. When people visit your profile they want to learn more about you, not your business. Plus writing something personal will give them something they can connect with.

2. Join specific groups that are targeted for your business - this is where you can begin to identify your target audience. Do a keyword search in the groups to find the ones that are relevant and JOIN THEM ALL. More about that in a minute.

3. Start writing content that is valuable to the group - people are always looking for tips, tricks, tactics, techniques and other creative ideas to help their business, so be that creative source. You need to be consistent and compelling otherwise no one will want to visit your page.

4. Post your content on all the groups that you belong to - not everyone that is part of one group belongs to all the others, so make sure to spread your knowledge around in mass.

5. Follow up on EVERY comment posted to your article - when someone takes the Hint: when you get up to about 10 comments, your readership DOUBLES. So, help those numbers rise by commenting behind everyone.

6. Make friend connections with those respondents - it doesn't work to randomly go around soliciting for friend requests. It's better to have added value to someone first which proves to them you are someone they should connect with. Send another private note thanking them for their feedback and requesting to become friends. 80% of the people will connect with you.

7. Only accept friend requests if it is relevant to your purpose on the site - you'll get people trying to connect with you at random, but don't accept it just to build up a friend list. Remember, you're there to market your business to a targeted audience, and you want to keep your friend inventory as pure as possible.

8. Make comments on other group member's discussion topics - this is a powerful way to keep you in front of people. It's a simple as writing a few lines of praise and picking something out of the article you liked. At the end of your comment, make sure to ONLY sign your name and maybe use a link to your website. Don't try to sell. Set a daily goal on how many responses you want to make and be consistent.

9. It's a good idea to survey your friends on the social networking sites to see what their needs are and try to meet them. Once you get this information from them you can send out targeted help to them and soft promote your site. Now you're starting to drive traffic outside of your articles!

10. At least twice per month, send an invitation to participate in an event that's not part of the community - you've been adding value to them so this is a comfortable and acceptable approach to promoting your business. If you were doing this step on the front end, it would not work.

Remember, it's always about adding value up front, not about selling your MLM business. Give enough of yourself in the right way, and people will attach themselves to you like groupies. I guess that makes you an internet rock star, right? Not bad!

The Value Of Team Work In Business

Mohamed Fazal

As cliched the statement – `united we stand, divided we fall’ may be, it is the secret behind every success story. The importance of teamwork gets doubly highlighted in the realm of businesses. Delving deeper into the issue of teamwork we see that irrespective of the size of a particular business venture, teamwork among the partners, staff or employees, as may be the case, is of immense importance. Even if it is a small scale business with a modest start up, constructing professional relationships and working together as a team, goes a long way in achieving dynamism and success.

A one man army entrepreneurship is sure to betray a business at some point or the other. Most successful businesses get help and support both from those within and outside the peripheries of the venture. The owner of a business venture must highlight the importance of teamwork by blending it with the company’s culture and business methods. Effective networking and working together with other business leaders is a fool proof method of successfully promoting a small scale enterprise.

Incorporation of Teamwork in your Business:

Teamwork involves the combined efforts of two or more people contributing different skills but sharing the same view point and working towards common aims and goals. Employees of the business must be made aware of the goals set for the enterprise and must work in such a way that catapults the business closer towards meeting these aims and targets. Mutually beneficial interactions and networking with other small business owners can be the perfect antidote to a future of long term struggle.

It is very crucial to incorporate and blend teamwork into one’s business culture and working methods. Teamwork incorporates mutual respect for each other’s opinions and capabilities, injects a sense of ownership and thus accountability within the employees and allows for honest communication and discussion about the issues dealt by the company.

Importance of Networking:

Building up a strong base of contacts, that can pitch in and help solving a problem at hand is what networking is all about. Being offered sound advice for problems within the purview of the contacts expertise or beneficial referrals being recommended by them can take your business a long way. Exploiting the benefits of networking will lead to the creation of an ever growing stream of contacts and referrals, building up a strong networking community in the process. This group of business owners work together in a symbiotic manner which results in mutual benefit.

Importance of Teamwork in the Marketing World:

One mutually beneficial activity that has gone completely unnoticed over the years is the concept of co-marketing. Co-marketing opens up numerous marketing opportunities making it a highly beneficial game plan. Pulling it off however requires high creative and organizational skills, but be rest assured that once it hits the mark, your business will well be on its way to the `seat of success’. Co-marketing involves sharing of customers by tagging up with other businesses that target the same market, in a complimentary manner though instead of a substitutable manner. This establishes a strong referral and mutually beneficial relationship between two ventures.

Teamwork thus seems to be the key ingredient in the recipe of a successful enterprise, be it small or large. Mutually beneficial activities like networking and co-marketing are what you should include in your game plan, if you want your business to be catapulted to success!
